🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟳.𝟱 🌟) Overall we thought the food was above average. 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶 $𝟭𝟰.𝟵𝟱 (📸:𝟭) was ok. Flavor was good but the beef was slightly overcooked. The egg was nicely fried yet runny in the middle. 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 $𝟭𝟯.𝟵𝟱 (📸:𝟮) was good. Flavor was good and the noodles were nicely cooked. Be careful when ordering it spicy. It packs a punch!

🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟲 🌟) Overall the pizza at Sam's Club was below average. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 $𝟭𝟬 (📸:1) pales in comparison to discontinued Costco Combo Pizza. Yeah it's super cheap for a large pizza but it's just not satisfying. The cheese is white, barely melted clumps and the sauce is only towards the middle of the pie. It's like they stop saucing an inch from the crust. Edible but not enjoyable.

🔹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Not recommended. @costco needs to bring back their combo pizza! It's superior. I wouldn't recommend this pizza unless you're really trying to get some bang for your buck.

🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟳.𝟱 🌟) Overall we thought the food was average. 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 $𝟭𝟴.𝟱𝟬 (📸:𝟭) was good. The broth was tasty and well balanced. There was a good amount of protein too. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗼 $𝟭𝟳.𝟱𝟬 (📸:𝟮) was ok. The broth was a little bland for my taste. Would probably stick to the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup next time. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗠𝗶 $𝟭𝟭 (📸:𝟯) was just ok too. The flavors felt a bit flat. Ironically the Pate didn't have much flavor. I was expecting an awesome Pate since the restaurant is literally named Pate. 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀 $𝟭𝟭.𝟱𝟬 (📸:𝟰) were pretty good but a bit over fried. 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗠𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲 $𝟴 (📸:𝟱) was a let down. I had high expectation like I mentioned earlier. It wasn't bad but just didn't have the strong umami punch I was expecting.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 $𝟭𝟱, 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘀 $𝟮𝟬 & 𝟭/𝟮 𝗗𝗼𝘇𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗢𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 $𝟮𝟴 (📸:𝟭) The Frites were good. The garlic & cilantro were fragrant but not overpowering. Pricey for fries though. The Chicken Lollipops were raw as you can see in (📸:𝟮). They replaced them with properly cooked ones and those were pretty good. The oysters were fresh but pretty basic. 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 $𝟮𝟴 (📸:𝟯) was ok. Bones were shallow so not a lot of marrow. The bread was burnt and they should've served at least 4 pieces of bread not 3. 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 $𝟱𝟱 (📸:𝟰) was good. The fish was fried perfectly and the chili sauce was well balanced. 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴 $𝟮𝟵 (📸:𝟱) was interesting. The pandan polenta had a nice fragrance but a bit sweet. Flavor was good but the beef was a bit tough. 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 $𝟯𝟵 was bland to me but the wifey liked it. (📸:6) 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗸 & 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 $𝟭𝟴 (📸:𝟳) was a tasty drink but portion was tiny. More like a shot for me.

🔹𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: (𝟴 🌟) Service was good. Servers were friendly and helpful. Our server forgot one setting when replacing the raw chicken plates and we had to wave someone down. Our kid was having a tantrum and one of the servers brought him some balloons so props for that. 👏🏻 FYI it's pretty loud inside so don't expect a chill night out. It's more like a Vegas restaurant vibe. Definitely not a place to take young children.

🔹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Neutral. We didn't hate it but didn't find ourselves wanting to come back right away. Maybe it was the raw chicken or maybe we need a date night without the kid? It's a cool concept so we'll probably check them out again later.

The wifey pointed out that it tasted like Costco Bulgogi and she's right. I could just throw some Costco Bulgogi in water and make something similar. Udon was ok too. 𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗨𝗱𝗼𝗻 $𝟲.𝟱𝟬 + 𝗘𝗴𝗴 $𝟮.𝟮𝟱 (📸:2) was agajn just ok. Nothing special once again. The broth was a bit bland. Not sure what the hype is about this place. The batter was a bit dense and hard. 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶-𝗮𝗱𝗲 $𝟰.𝟱𝟬 (📸:4) was sadly the best thing. It was refreshing and not too sweet. The Calamansi flavor definitely came through.

🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟵 🌟) Overall we thought the food at Seoul Kimbap was very good. 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗽 $𝟳.𝟲𝟬 (📸:1) is my favorite Kimbap there. I do wish there was some American Cheese though. That would make it perfect! My wife prefers the Spicy Pork Kimbap. She says the Kimbap is the closest to homemade she's had in Hawaii. The wifey was born and raised in Korea so I'll take her word for it. You also get some fish cake soup with each order of Kimbap. I forgot to take a pic because I was excite to have the 𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 $𝟲.𝟳𝟬 (📸 :2) is one of the wifey's faves. It's rich and hearty but balanced out by lots of kimchee. It is a Kimchi Soup of course!

🔹𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: (𝟵 🌟) We don't usually rate service for takeout but the service is always so friendly and welcoming we had to. It's like one of those friendly mom & pop shops you see on K-drama.

🔹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Highly recommended. This is one of those places that just make you feel happy and satisfied. They have no IG but are located in Pioneer Plaza at Fort Street Mall.

🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟴 🌟) Overall we thought the food was good.
𝟯 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 $𝟭𝟱 (📸:1&2) was a lot of food for $15. We chose the Beef Stew, Chicken Adobo and Pork Guisantes. The Beef Stew had huge chunks of Shortrib but very few veggies. The meat could've been more tender but good overall. The Chicken Adobo and Pork Guisantes were good and authentic. We chose the fried noodles instead of rice. The noodles were surprisingly flavorful. I wish I got the rice though since everything had a lot of flavor. Some dishes just go better with rice.

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗮 $𝟭𝟳.𝟵𝟱 (📸:1&2) was good. I wasn't expecting much for food court Laksa but was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is on point and there's a generous amount of seafood. I actually prefer this Laksa over Panya. 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 $𝟭𝟮.𝟵𝟱 (📸:3) were pretty good too. The sauce was a bit sweet but the lime was a nice touch to balance it out. The batter is a bit thicker than what I'm used to with Korean Fried Chicken Wings.

🔹𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Not rated due to takeout. Just some constructive criticism... the cashiers could be friendlier. Not unfriendly but zero smiles to be found.

🔹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Recommended. I'd definitely recommend trying the Seafood Combo Laksa. If you don't like seafood they have other choices like beef, pork or chicken. It's not cheap but I think it's worth it if you're craving a hearty bowl of noodles. It hits the spot yet isn't too heavy. The House Chicken Wings were pretty good but not sure if I'd order them again. I hear they make a good Hainan Chicken Rice Plate Special. That's next on our list to try.

🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟴 🌟) Overall we think the food at Poi Bowl is very good. 𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 $𝟮.𝟱𝟬/𝗽𝗰 (📸:𝟭) is my current pick for Best Shoyu Chicken, and trust me I've tried a lot of Shoyu Chicken. It's fall off the bone tender and packed with umami. Make sure you have them put extra Teri Sauce on top! Together it's a perfectly balanced combo of sweet and savory. Not sure why they call it BBQ Chicken though. 𝟯 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 $𝟭𝟲.𝟵𝟱 +$𝟭.𝟯𝟱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 (📸:𝟮,𝟯) is a lot of food for around $18. We ordered Kalua Pig Cabbage, Beef Stew and the Special of the Day: Pork Guisantes. Everything was solid in my book. The Beef Stew brought back memories of School Beef Stew which I enjoyed back in the days. Pro tip for more food is to get Mac Salad instead of Tossed Salad! If you get Tossed Salad they put your 3rd choice where the Mac Salad goes and give you a container of Salad. If you get Mac Salad you get a generous container of your 3rd choice (📸:𝟯).

🔹𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: (𝟴 🌟) Service is pretty good for a takeout spot. Never had a bad experience at Poi Bowl. It's usually friendly local ladies working the line.

🔹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Highly recommended. If you haven't tried Poil Bowl it's worth giving it a try. I haven't had a bad dish yet. The prices and portion size in my opinion are better than most of the popular Hawaiian Food spots. Plus the BBQ Chicken aka Shoyu Chicken is pretty bomb.

🔹𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱: (𝟳.𝟱 🌟) Overall we thought the food was above average. We ordered the 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 $𝟭𝟯.𝟵𝟵 (📸:1) which comes with rice and salad. You can also order one skewer for $5.99 or two for $10.99. The unique thing about this skewer is that it isn't one chunk of meat. It's thin slices of Wagyu Beef on a stick. Almost like a meat slinky if you remember slinkys. I feel they do this because the Wagyu is low quality. If it was high grade as they claim you'd have no need to cut it up. What can you expect for $13.99 though? For the price it was decent. The sliced up beef made it easier to eat and gave it the appearance of tenderness. Was it melt in your mouth like high quality Wagyu? No. Flavor was good but a bit salty. They put a sauce over it while cooking and it really soaks it up. I recommend trying without sauce before pouring the Wasabi Sauce on it. The Wasabi Suace was ok. Nothing spectacular. The salad was pretty basic but the vinegarette added some much needed acid to the plate.

🔹𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: (𝟲.𝟱 🌟) Service was below average. The workers seemed to be going through the motions and we're pretty stoic. They do cook the Skewers fresh but it sure did take a while. I must've waited for 20+ minutes for my plate. It wasn't busy either.

🔹𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁: Neutral. We thought it was ok overall but not something we'd go out of our way to try again. The long wait time makes it inconvenient for a quick lunch and the term Wagyu is used very loosely here. You'd be hard pressed to tell this beef apart from regular prime or choice cuts.
